Amir Blachman is a Managing Director at Space Angel Network, supporting the Network in funding space startups. He finds and facilitates investment opportunities, examines startups’ viability, and supports Angels in their due diligence. Blachman helps startups achieve their goals by introducing them to investors, clients, business advisors and technology experts. Blachman was an acquisitions analyst on a large real estate investment fund and held senior operations leadership roles at three companies as they grew from mom-and-pop endeavors through IPO and acquisition. Blachman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, and a Master's of Business Adiminstration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and is a graduate of the joint NASDAQ/UCLA Anderson Director Certification Program for corporate governance. He has served as a Riordan Mentor, a volunteer Big Brother for nine years, is an instrument-rated private pilot, and is a representative of the FAA Safety Team.
