Ben Marcus is the founder and CEO of No Fly Zone, which works with drone manufacturers and operators to create no fly zones over private property. He is responsible for providing a comprehensive global database of no-drone areas, supported by drone manufacturers and operators who have joined the community. NoFlyZone is driving industry self-regulation by building a consortium of drone companies that respect individual privacy, and allowing homeowners to register their properties on its online database. The company opens communication between people who want privacy and the drone manufacturers and operators using the skies above them. Previously, Marcus co-founded jetAVIVA, an aircraft brokerage firm that centers on light jets. Marcus cares about giving back to the aerospace community, serving as vice chairman of Angel Flight West and as a member of the Space Angels Network. He holds a degree in Aviation Technology from Purdue University.
