Daichi Nakamura is a Flight Controller for the International Space Station, responsible for fluid and thermal control system of the Japanese Experiment Module (FLAT). He joined Space Engineering Development (SED) Co., Ltd. as an engineer in 2011. Besides his current position, in 2011 he was selected as a National Point of Contact for Japan of Space Generation Advisory Council, an NGO which acts in support of the United Nations Program on Space Applications, based in Vienna, Austria. Daichi has a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, with a concentration in optimization problem in Fluid Dynamics, from Nihon University, Tokyo.
