Dr. Pham Anh Tuan currently serves as the Director of Vietnam National Satellite Center (VNSC), Chairman of Project Management Unit of Vietnam Space Center Project, considered to be one of the most important national projects for the Research and Development of Space Science and Technology in Vietnam, as well as Co-Dean of the Aerospace Engineering Faculty of University of Science and Technology of Hanoi. Tuan has been involved in Pico satellite programs, MICRO-STAR micro-satellite and APRSAF satellite, and is an international expert in mechatronics and satellite technology. Since 2013, Dr. Tuan is the Member of International Academy of Astronautics (IAA).  He attended Ilmenau University of Technology in Germany, where he received his Master's and Doctorate degrees, each in Engineering.
