As the Space Foundation's Government Affairs Associate, Jillianne Pierce regularly communicates with space policy decision-makers within the Administration, Congress, and various government agencies including the Department of Defense, Department of State, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and Federal Aviation Administration. She also routinely interfaces with the commercial space industry and international space agencies. Before joining the Space Foundation’s Washington, D.C. team, Pierce worked for Walt Disney World Government Relations in Orlando. A self-described “space nerd,” Pierce attended U.S. Space Camp before earning her B.A. from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
