Michael W. Miller is the Vice President of Science, Environmental and Remote Sensing Spacecraft Programs in Orbital ATK's Space Systems Group, where he is responsible for the technical, cost and schedule aspects of these programs. Miller has 36 years of experience in the development and management of NASA spacecraft bus systems. His program responsibility includes 20 successful satellite developments over the last 16 years, the majority of which continue in operations today. He is currently managing development of three additional NASA satellite missions scheduled for launch over the next several years, as well as continuing support for operational missions. Miller began his career with Fairchild Space (later acquired by Orbital) as a Structures Engineer and held several successive positions in Orbital ATK’s Space Systems Group, including Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer, Program Manager, Program Director, Senior Program Director and Vice President. He holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
