Ronald J. Grabe is President of the Flight Systems Group at Orbital ATK, where he is responsible for the execution, business development and financial performance of the company’s launch, strategic missile and missile defense, and aerospace structures activities. He previously served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Orbital's Launch Systems Group following five years of senior-level management, technical and marketing roles in the launch systems area. Prior to joining Orbital, Grabe was a NASA astronaut for 15 years and held several positions with NASA including Deputy Manager of operations integration for the Space Shuttle Program Office.  Grabe also served in the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of Colonel.  He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering science from the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Grabe conducted postgraduate studies as a Fulbright Scholar in aerodynamics at the Technische Hochschule at Darmstadt, Germany.
