Taner Kodanaz leads DigitalGlobe’s Seeing a Better World™ Program, a commitment to leverage DigitalGlobe’s geospatial products and services to address significant global challenges.  He works with global development organizations, including United Nations, World Bank, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy, to catalyze and implement strategies for humanitarian and environmental initiatives.  Prior to DigitalGlobe, Taner was head of Philanthropic Alliances at Promethean, a global education technology company that supports interactive education and training solutions.  He created and executed novel strategies for leveraging philanthropic partnerships with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
